Message from Sheriff Helms - 1st 30 Days

I am proud to be the Sheriff of Camden County.  The last thirty days has been a busy time for all of us here at the Sheriff’s Office.  As promised we have put deputies, through the Community Resource Officers, into the more rural areas of the county.  All the Deputies have been encouraged to become more community oriented and increase patrol off the highway(s).  We are focusing on Crime Prevention and encouraging the public to practice awareness in that area.

We want the public to feel comfortable in contacting us if there are any problems/criminal activity in their communities. If they can’t get in touch with me personally, my staff is always available.  I have a true open door policy for both the public and staff.
