On October 24, 2011 Deputies were called to the Dollar General Store and Lake Hills Community Church reference burglaries of the two establishments. They are located within the 8000 block of Highway 5 in Greenview Missouri.

Items stolen from Dollar General include energy drinks and candy. During the deputies’ area canvas they located several of the stolen items in a shopping bag. Deputies also found that the Lake Hills Community Church had been unlawfully entered. Nothing had been taken from the church but a back pack was located inside the building. The back pack was later found to be that of the suspects.

Video surveillance of the suspect(s) in the Dollar General Store burglary was seized as evidence.

A short time after deputies cleared from the scene, they received a call reference a suspicious male subject in the Greenview area. When deputies arrived they were advised by a citizen that the subject had walked into a nearby wooded area. Deputies entered into the wooded area and located a white male identified as Garrett L Cope 17 of Sunrise Beach Missouri.  Cope matched the image in the video surveillance from the Dollar General Burglary.

Cope was arrested and transported to the Camden County Adult Detention Facility and is being held on charges of Burglary 2^nd and Stealing, Bond set at $1,000.00 Cash and $20,000.00 Surety.
