Florida Fugitive Apprehended

On Friday, August 9, 2013 Camden and Miller County deputies captured a wanted fugitive from the state of Florida. John James Stovall 35 is wanted by Broward County Florida authorities on several felony charges including sex offender violations.

Camden County deputies had been searching for Stovall when information indicated he may be at a local establishment in Miller County. Camden County deputies contacted the Miller County Sheriff’s Office and went to the establishment where the found Stovall hiding in a walk-in cooler.

Stovall was taken into custody and transported to the Camden County Adult Detention Facility where he is being held for Florida authorities.

Camden County Sheriff Dwight Franklin said the cooperation of the two Departments made this arrest possible.
