On 02-28-11, A Camden County Deputy was called to Moreland Well Drilling located on Business Route 5 north of Camdenton reference the theft of several spools of copper wire (valued at $3,000.00).

While investigating the crime it was noted that the suspect(s) had rolled the spools off a trailer and across a nearby fence.  The deputy followed the trail to a mobile home located nearby. The deputy attempted to make contact with the home owner and was unsuccessful.

On 03-01-11 the investigating deputy returned to the trailer home and contact was made with a young male subject who confessed to the crime. The suspect is currently in custody at the Camden County Adult Detention Center pending formal charges.
