The Camden County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported domestic assault in progress at 5:45 am, in the 900 block of Mill School Road Macks Creek.

The female suspect allegedly assaulted her live in boyfriend by cutting him with a box cutter and beating him with a BB gun.

The male victim’s injuries were superficial and he refused medical treatment at the scene. The female suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Camden County Adult Detention Facility pending formal charges.

 

Amanda G Downing 30 of Macks Creek has been charged with a Class C Felony of Assault 2nd degree. Bond was denied and she is currently being held in the Camden County Adult Detention Center.
