On March 15, 2015 at approximately 7:24 pm Camden County 911 operators received a call reporting a 2 year old child missing for approximately 20 minutes in the 100 block of Cody Lane Camdenton, Missouri. The caller stated the child had wandered off from the home while outside with an adult. The caller advised neighbors were out searching for the child.

Deputies arrived on the scene at 7:34 pm and approximately 9 minutes later the child was located in a nearby pond. Deputies at the scene began CPR on the child until medical personnel arrived on the scene. The child was flown from the scene by helicopter to Lake Regional Hospital. The condition of the child is unknown at this time.
