Iberia Man Charged in Four Seasons Burglary

Camden County sheriff’s deputies and Lake Ozark police officers arrested an Iberia man Thursday evening for burglary. At approximately 2000 hours, Lake Ozark police officers contacted the CCSO requesting assistance at a pest control business in that city. CCSO deputies responded and took 28 year old Cody Lee Cochran into custody after he was found in possession of several pieces of jewelry stolen from a Four Seasons home.

The Four Seasons homeowner explained to deputies she contracted with the pest control company to treat her home. She met with Cochran, an employee of the pest control company, at the home at approximately 1645 hours. After verifying he had completed the indoor portion of the treatment, she locked the house and left the area while Cochran remained to treat the outside of the residence. The homeowner told deputies she returned to the residence at approximately 1815 hours and observed the pest control truck still in the driveway. When she entered the home she discovered Cochran in her bedroom. Cochran then left the residence and was reportedly involved in a hit and run accident, bringing the Lake Ozark police to his place of employment.

Cochran was transported to the Camden County Adult Detention Facility where he was charged with the Class B Felony of 1st Degree Burglary with a cash only bond amount of $2000.00.
