Shop With a Cop

Sheriff Dwight Franklin is proud to announce the Camden County Sheriff’s Office is joining with the Lake of the Ozarks Fraternal Order of Police and other local law enforcement agencies in participation of Cops for Kids/ Shop with a Cop.

Deputies are trying to help raise enough money to sponsor at least ten children this year and all money raised will be divided evenly between each child for shopping money.

Target in Osage Beach has agreed to assist local law enforcement by hosting children who come from families in need this Christmas. On December 18th, law enforcement officers from across the lake area will escort the children to Target and help them choose appropriate gifts.

Anyone interested in donating funds to help children in need this Christmas is encouraged to bring the donation to the sheriff’s office. There is an application process for families in need which is also available at the sheriff’s office.
