Press Release – 05-05-16

On Saturday, April 30, 2016, deputies from the Camden County Sheriff’s Office, members of the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group, and officers from the Osage Beach Police Department made three arrests in connection with a narcotics investigation.

Authorities recently received information about prescription narcotic pills being diluted into liquid form, injected into soft candies, and sold to high school students. After conducting their investigation and surveillance, authorities located the suspects late Saturday afternoon in the 4200 block of Osage Beach Parkway in Osage Beach. They recovered marijuana, prescription narcotics pills and Sour Patch Kids candies suspected of having been injected with the diluted prescription narcotics. The candies have been sent to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Crime Lab for analysis.

Arrested at the scene were Tanner Dale Berg, 19, of Brumley; Tori Lee Tomson, 20, also of Brumley; and Henry Jason Vandonsel II, 18, of Lake Ozark. All three were charged with one count each of the Class B Felony of Distributing a Controlled Substance. The three men each posted a $3000.00 bond and will appear before the court on May 31st.
