In the early morning hours of Saturday, July 3rd, management from a local hotel contacted our office concerning a noise complaint.

When deputies arrived on scene, they found the management from the hotel in a hallway with several apparent guests. Management explained to the deputies that they responded to the hotel room in an effort to have the guests turn down their music. When the door to the hotel room opened, the management personnel observed what appeared to be narcotics on a table in the room.

Deputies arrested seven subjects from that room including at least one who had jumped from the balcony of the room to the balcony of a neighboring room. Deputies seized marijuana, prescription pills, cocaine, and drug paraphernalia from the room.

All seven subjects were transported to the Camden County Adult Detention Facility and charged with numerous drug related crimes.:
