House Fire Dry Gulch Lane, Montreal, Mo.

Addition to Release - Correction to the initial release: The State Fire Marshal (not Fire Marshall from Sunrise Beach) responded and Mid-County Fire was assisted by the Osage Beach Fire Protection District.

 

On 2/25/2017 at approximately 12:18 am, Camden County Communications received a 911 call reference a residential fire on Dry Gulch Lane, Linn Creek, Mo.  The initial call received was that there was a loud explosion and the trailer home and woods were on fire.  The caller also advised that he believed the residence was occupied by three people, two adults and a toddler.  Deputies arrived within minutes of the initial call at which time the residence was fully involved. 

By 12:50 am, Mid-County Fire had the fire under control.  At 12:59 am, a county deputy was able to locate a friend of the residents and it was determined that the occupants had gone out for the evening and the home was unoccupied.

Present on the scene were County Deputies, Linn Creek Officers, Mid-County Fire, Mercy Ambulance, Laclede Electric and Fire Marshall from Sunrise Beach Fire.

Again, the home was unoccupied and at the time of this release, the cause of the fire is unknown.
