Unlawful Use of a Firearm

03/23/2017

Brandon L. Jensen

UPDATE - black and tan boxer mix has been located and returned to owner

On March 22, 2017 at approximately 11:00 am, Camden County Deputies responded to the Lake Hugo Apartments located on Lake Hugo Drive in Linn Creek, Mo., reference a physical altercation and shots fired.

Upon arrival, Deputies discovered that two dogs had been shot during the disturbance.  Deputies met with the owner of two dogs.  The younger of the two dogs, had been shot twice and killed.  The other, a black and tan, boxer/shepherd mix, had also been shot but ran off toward V Road.  The injured dog has not been located.  Because the dog is reported to be aggressive and now injured, please contact your local law enforcement, if located.

The incident occurred when another resident and Jensen had confronted the owner of the dogs about prior vandalism to the resident's truck tires. During the disturbance, Brandon Jensen was purportedly brandishing a firearm and when the dogs ran out of the dog owner's apartment, Jensen shot both animals.  Jensen left the scene of the incident, leaving the owner of the truck behind.

Due to Jensen's current probation status, he cannot possess a firearm.  Jensen has been charged with Unlawful Use of a Weapon and is being held in the Camden County Detention Center on a $2000.00 cash only bond.
