ROAD DAMAGE CAMDEN COUNTY

08/06/2017

Due to the storms that developed on Saturday, August 5, 2017, several roads and low water crossings in north Camden County have been damaged or are impassible.  7-13 in the area of Bollinger Creek was also impassible until crews from Camden County Road and Bridge responded with equipment to remove the damaged asphalt and add temporary fill.  This area should still be considered a dangerous driving area.  Dodds Camp was inaccessible even to crews attempting to restore power to the area.  Crews from the Camden County Road and Bridge are attempting to get to those roadways needing immediate temporary access.  The area of the bridge at Cup Tree on the northern most Camden County line has been compromised and should not be used.

Dawson Road in the City of Camdenton behind Save A Lot has been severely damaged.  There is also a boil order for that area.

If you are aware of any further damage, please contact the Camden County Sheriff's Office - 573-346-2243 or the Emergency Management Agency - 317-6239.

Remember do not take a chance on driving over low water areas or severely damaged roadways.
