Two Arrested in Neighborhood Disturbance and Assault

Camdenton, MO - 10-24-24 - Tuesday evening, 10-22-24, deputies responded to a disturbance involving multiple neighbors on Westpark Drive just North of Camdenton.  Upon arrival deputies found a male juvenile victim who had been hit by a car and suffered severe injuries. Deputies provided first aid and assisted emergency medical personnel in evacuating the victim via helicopter to an area hospital. The victim was last listed in serious but stable condition.

 

During the investigation deputies discovered two subjects from Springfield; 34-year-old Ashely P Coleman, and 36-year-old Chasimus E Quinn, were visiting friends in the neighborhood. Quinn allegedly threatened several people in the neighborhood with a gun including the male juvenile victim. When the male juvenile victim's parents confronted Quinn, Coleman hit the male juvenile with her car. According to multiple witnesses Quinn and Coleman then ran into a nearby residence.

 

The residence owner allowed deputies into the home where they took Coleman and Quinn into custody. Deputies recovered a firearm inside the residence that matched the description given by witnesses outside the home.

 

Coleman was transported to the Camden County Adult Detention Facility where she is charged with the Class A Felony of 1st Degree Assault and Felony Armed Criminal Action. She is being held without bond.

 

Quinn was also transported to the Camden County Adult Detention Facility where he is charged with the Class B Felony of 1st Degree Assault, the Class C Felony of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, and Felony Armed Criminal Action. He is being held without bond.

A reminder that these charges are merely allegations of wrongdoing. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
