Two Wanted Felons Arrested in Edwards

Camdenton, MO - 10-29-24 - Tuesday morning, 10-29-24, Camden County deputies, MSHP Troopers, members of the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group, and United States Marshals arrested two wanted felons in the Edwards area of the Benton/Camden County border.

 

32-year-old Jacob JM Nutt, and 36-year-old Kristina N (Compton) Nutt, of Edwards, were both arrested on several felony warrants. In recent months, Jacob and Kristina have been involved in several high-speed pursuits in the Climax Springs and Edwards areas and Jacob has made threats against law enforcement. 

 

Jacob Nutt was transported to the Camden County Adult Detention Facility where he is being held on multiple active felony and misdemeanor warrants from Camden, Hickory, and Benton Counties, including Class D Felony Receiving Stolen Property, two counts of Class E Felony Resisting Arrest, and a Fugitive Warrant from Kansas. He is being held without bond.

 

Kristina Nutt was also transported to the Camden County Adult Detention Facility where she is being held on probation violation warrants for original charges of Class D Felony 1st Degree Tampering with a Motor Vehicle, Class D Felony Possession of Controlled Substance, and Class E Felony Non-Support. She is being held without bond.

A reminder that these charges are merely allegations of wrongdoing. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
