Fugitive Arrest (Camdenton)

On October 8, 2014 Camden County Sheriff’s Office assisted the United States Marshal Service in the arrest of a federal fugitive. Eddie J Fry 40 of Camdenton was taken into custody in the 200 block of Cottage Drive, without incident. Fry was being sought on several felony warrants from the state of Kansas.

 During the warrant service US Marshal Service personnel saw illegal controlled substances within the home. Camden County Sheriff’s personnel secured the scene and obtained a search warrant for the residence. During the execution of the search warrant, ½ ounce of methamphetamine (ice), ½ pound of marijuana, 2 firearms, and $6,000 in cash was seized.

 Additional arrests in the home included Shannon N Dace 25 of Olathe, Kansas, Charles J Hilt 44 of Kansas City, Kansas, and Jeffery D Davis 42 of Clinton, Missouri.

 Charges:

  Dace – Class B felony of distribute/deliver/manufacture/produce or attempt to or possess with the intent to distribute/deliver/manufacture/produce a controlled substance. Bond set at $5,000.00 cash or $75,000.00 surety.

 Hilt – Class C felony of possession of a controlled substance. Bond set at  $5,000.00 cash or $15,000.00 surety.

 Davis – Class B felony of distribute/deliver/manufacture/produce or attempt to or possess with the intent to distribute/deliver/manufacture/produce a controlled substance. Bond set at $7,500.00 cash or $0,000.00 surety.

 All four subjects are currently being held in the Camden County Adult Detention Facility.
